Thirsty? Reach For The #GreenBottleCap

This post is sponsored by Dasani and The Coca-Cola Company.
As we approach the holidays and quickly close in on the new year I've been thinking a lot about my life goals and health goals. After just having our little sweet pea I'm trying to lose some baby weight so I keep telling myself to drink more water. I have to remind myself to drink and when I reach for something cool I try to make sure I'm grabbing some water more often than not. As a busy on the go mom I will buy a bottle of water when I'm away from home. I feel good about my choice to drink water, but I used to feel guilty about all the plastic being used in those bottles. Recently, I've learned more about Dasani's mindfulness for the environment and how they're using less plastic in their bottles. Find out more and why you'll want to reach for the #GreenBottleCap the next time you buy water!

Even though I don't fully understand how Coca-Cola is able to take plants and make their new PlantBottle, I love that they are! You can watch the video above or visit their website to learn more about PlantBottle and all the ways Coca-Cola is working to reduce waste and increase sustainability. The new PlantBottle is such a great idea, and it's getting credit too winning the 2010 Global DuPont Award for Packaging Innovation and the 2011 Edison Award in Energy and Sustainable Packaging.
Now when I'm thirsty I can reach for the water with the #GreenBottleCap and drink in the Dasani water goodness without guilt.

  1. I always have my reusable water bottle with me. I'll keep this in mind when I need a bottle of water.

  2. This is a great idea and very innovative. I don't understand how they can do all the recycling and reusing they do, but I'm glad they do it. We recycle because I'm like you drink a lot of water and don't want to throw away the bottles.

  4. Recycling is such a smart idea. I always recycled then we moved to an area that doesn't have recycling set up. I didn't think there were any areas that didn't recycle now : (

  14. This is wonderful. I think so many people made resolutions about recycling and about drinking more water. This helps with both.
